Delay when submitting orders

When I put an order in through the DOM, there is a 5-10+ sec delay from the time I click a cell and the time the order is placed. I tried this with the NT sim account and a Live account. I also noticed when NT is first started up the delay is much less but as time goes on (15+ min) the delay grows.

Using IB and NT 6.5.0.8

I am using IB 877 and I only have up the DOM in Ninja, there are no performance issues at this point. It seems like something is building up within Ninja to the point where it slows it down, is that possible?

Do you have any third party indicators or strategies installed? If so, I suggest to uninstall these and check if the issue persists.

In addition, what are your PC specifications, such as PC clock speed, amount of RAM and what version of Windows you are running?

I do not have any third party indicators or strategies.

CPU: 2 - Dual Core Opterons 280 (4 cores)

RAM: 4GB

Win XP 64 bit

Hi TommyJames,

NinjaTrader is not officially supported for 64 bit operating systems. I suggest to install NinjaTrader on a 32 bit operating system if possible.
