gaps in data

When I open my charts / templates they start with the data at that moment, with a gap between when I last close the chart and the present. The same result on all intervals and instruments. I tried the "repair" features, no change.

I want the charts continous.... how can I set them up to backfill?

Hello thuff,

Can you please tell me to what data feed provider you connect in NinjaTrader. Could it be historical data is not supported? See the link below under 'Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider' which will list all supported data feed providers and what data they support.

Does it make a difference if you right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'?

Zen-Fire supports historical data. Do you load the missing data after reloading historical data in the chart?

If not, please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Repair DB. Restart NinjaTrader and check if all requested data is loaded.

If the issue remains, please exit NinjaTrader and go to C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db and delete the cache folder. Start NinjaTrader and check again.
