EMA with Tick Chart for strategy


Anyone have good, long term results using 2 EMA indicators on a Tick chart to signal crosses/trend changes?

If so, what indicator #'s (& which tick chart #) work best to spot the cross points which are closes to/at the trend change?

I'm experimenting with 2 EMA's (89/15) on a 144 Tick Chart to indicate the cross of EMA's to show best entry at the trend change. (much better than SMA's on a 150 Tick).

Here are 2 non-authoritative articles regarding empirical research into Moving Average Crossovers and their profitability thereto. They might help convince you that it is not a very robust trading method.
