Problem

On a tick chart, In chart parameters, I changed ticks from 1000 to 5000, clicked OK. Showing "loading data". It stays there, now for 20 minutes, chart does not change, system is not frozen, chart is not frozen. There is no "cancel" button. What do I do?

Thank you for your post.

Do you see any data being loaded on the NinjaTrader Control Center in the bottom right hand corner? If so, then you should see an Abort button listed there as well and left clicking on the Abort button will stop the loading of the data.

If not, then check the Log tab of the NinjaTrader Control Center. Do you see any errors listed here? If so, please detail in your response.

YES, I did see the "loading data" in left upper corner but no abort sign any where. I let the chart continue, because it was still functioning. After an hour or so it updated. I suppose it just took so long to update it?

There could be a number of factors that caused this item. Did you see any error messages in the Log tab of the NinjaTrader Control Center?
