How can I remove a template from a chart to get it back to just the basic chart?

Thank you for your post.
You can do this by right clicking in your chart > select Templates > then Load > select Default > OK.
If you have set a template as the Default then this will not resolve the matter and you will need to create a new chart with '<None>' selected for the template on the Data Series menu and save this as the Default template by right clicking in your chart > select Templates > Save As Default.
