    Hello victormar,

    Thank you for your post.

        Hello,

Which instrument are you importing data for?
Please provide me with the name of the file you used to import as well.

            Hello,

Has TW been added to your instance of NinjaTrader already? The instrument is not included by default and may require special setup if you've not already taken those steps.

The name of the file is incorrect based on what NinjaTrader would expect when importing data. Based on the name provided, you should rename the file to 'TW 07-10.Last.txt' (assuming that this is last price data from the July 2010 expiry)

                Hi,

If the instrument is part of the Instrument Manager's master list, please try importing with the new file name I suggested. All documentation related to importing data is available here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h.../importing.htm

                    Hi,

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what prevents the import of this data based on what information is currently available. Please contact me via email: Support AT NinjaTrader DOT com.

In your note, include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) A copy of the data which you wish to import. If that file is over 3 MB, please let me know via email and I will provide alternate instructions.

3.) A copy of today's trace file. This file is located in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I need a copy of the 'trace.20130213.txt' file.

                      regarding importing/exporting stock data

                      hi,
I am new user also, to get more stock data, I used the following method:
                      file->uitilies->import stock symbol list
in the pop-up window, add in new instruments first (in my case , sp midcap 400, sp smallcap 600)
set instrument, then paste stock symbol list into the window ( you can always get those from web)
then go to tool->Historical Data Manager->download window
under new instruments (like sp midcap 400), you should see new stock list you just added in
                      hope that helps,

                      Now here is my problem:
when I want to export stock (daily) data, It seems that I have to do it one stock at a time, is there anyway that I can do
                      it in batch ?

                      any helps appreciated,
