Connecting to IB

Hello,

I am able to connect to IB however only in SIM. When I click on file and try to unclick global sim mode, it is grayed out. When I go to tools, simulator, and then unclick always start in simulation, there is no difference.

I have the newest version of TWS, just downloaded today. What do I need to do to go live?
