    Chart Gaps

When I right click on a chart and select Data Series and then select 24/7, I lose a day of data. If I have the Days to Load set to 7, one of those 7 days will be missing. And the day that's missing is an actual trading day, not a weekend.

When I change the session template to "use instrument settings" the missing day reappears. I am using CQG as my data provider.

This only matters because I use an indicator from Kwikpop. They want me to use the 24/7 setting in the session template. But if I do, the missing day changes their indicator. If I use "use instrument settings" their indicator changes once again. It would be nice to see their indicator the way it was intended.

    Hello curtcee,

    Thanks for your reply.

Please verify that the Default 27/7 session template is properly configured.
You can do this by going to Tools> Session Manager
Select the Default 24/7 Session Template
Ensure the settings match the attached screen shots

Below I have provided a link to the Session Manager section of our help guide.

I've compared my session manager settings to your .jpg and mine are identical. I'm currently missing the 6th of February when I have the session manager set to 24/7 and loading 8 days. But the 6th reappears if I switch back to "use instrument settings."

        Hello curtcee,

        Thanks for you reply.

So I may assist you further please answer the following.

        1) What instrument and expiry have you selected?
        2) (For a chart) what interval is selected
        3) What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.11)
        4) Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
        5) What is the size of you database file?
You can check by opening the following directory within Windows
        (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db
Right click on the file named ninjatrader.sdf and select Properties

I look forward to assisting you further.

            Hello,

Please shut down NinjaTrader and navigate to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db and delete the cache folder.

Once deleted, please restart NinjaTrader and reconnect. Do you see the same behavior on the Default 24/7 session template?
