Any shortcut to getting equity "description" filled in ?

Ok - before i do this manually - i am wondering if there is a way to get the "description" field for each new equity instrument added?

I know how to do it manually but I scan many hundreds of equities daily. Having to manually enter each name....well its not a pleasant thought.

I know because i did it once but had to completely start from fresh so lost those fifiteen or so hours of work.

I have IQ for equity data....

Any ideas?

Unfortuntaely, this is something which would need to be manually at this time. I'm sorry for that inconvenience. I will be forwarding a suggestion to our development staff to allow for batched updates of this field in future releases.

Maybe just include more equities in the stock Ninja securities. ND100 and S&P 500 are already loaded....maybe add the russell 2000?

I honestly dont think i can face adding the descriptions again myself.

I am surprised you did not hear me all the way in Denver from Maryland when i realized i lost all of that work.
