I've read before that the real-time functions of NT (charting, MA, etc) uses only a single thread as opposed to backtesting/optimization which uses all available CPU power.
So, does that mean that if I use NT solely for Market Analyzer (albeit, with loads of loads of stock), I only need a single core CPU, and a dual/quad core would just be a waste?
I'm trying to decide which instance on Amazon EC2 to use, and if only a single core is utilized, then I can probably just go with an M1 Medium Instance (http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types/).
Thanks!

Nick
