Market Analyzer reset

Hi folks...

Many times, I start NT strategies around 7 pm est and through the night...

I don't have a chance to restart NT after midnight etc to have it reset the Market Analyzer.

What is a good workaround to reset Market Analyzer while it is running so I can see only the current day's trading (and current open positions if a trade enters before midnight and does not close until after midnight) etc?

Also, will there be a easier way to reset it on the fly with NT 8?

Hello Greg,
NinjaTrader trade will display all open positions and I am not aware of any workarounds that will display trades taken during the current day only.

Sorry...probably was not clear.

You know how usually you have to restart NT after midnight to reset the Market Analyzer for the day?

I mean, if I leave NT running through midnight (cause I can not restart because it will mess up the running strategies), how can I reset the Market Analyzer while it is running. Cause if I don't, then it will actually show yesterday's unrealized, realized, and profit/loss along with the current day.

So, I just need that to be reset to where it shows unrealized, realized, and profit/loss etc for the current day so it is not mixed with yesterday's...

There reason I could not restart to reset is because of running strategies...

1. Will resetting on the fly without having to restart NT be available with NT 8?

2. What is a workaround to reset while not having to restart NT 7?

NOTE: Anyone can respond with ideas...

Natively NinjaTrader will not reset the PnL values.

I will however send your feature request to development for future consideration.
