Keeping same Machine ID after clean installation of Window 8?

Hello,

I'd like to know whether NT7 Machine ID would be changed after clean installation of Window 8 or upgrading to Win 8 from Win 7 because most of NT vendors charge for processing New Machine ID for their products. I have many purchased indicators from different NT vendors, which will cost me a lot. So Is there a way to keep old machine ID during clean installation of Win 8 or could NinjaTrader suggest and tell vendors not to charge during new Window OS transforming period?

Thank you for your post.

Machine ID is a value which Windows itself assigns to a PC based on the hardware components which are installed within that system. Its therefore very likely that the Machine ID code would remain the same after reinstalling windows.
