Seriously: NT8 Wish List forum???

Since Market Replay is going to be "Faster than 500x" , can we get a ">|" button? Which would take us straight to the new warp speed at the end?

Seriously, clicking through 14 clicks to get to 500x from pause really sucks for an old dog like me. I'm burnt out. I click here and there and everywhere all day long and my forearms are wasted.

I'm more of a 1x 5x 10x and then i jump to 500x... Or at least make it user configurable which replay options are available... I'll probably settle on 1x 2x 10x 1000x ....

And on an GUI interface design , too much space was between items in a setup....indicator or strategy.

No one should have to scroll every time they have to set up something.

Please limit the spacing and put as much as possible as NT7 on the same window. Scrolling unnecessarily sucks...

even Resizing windows beyond 'normal' to display everything still sucks.

You all might get used to it, but it doesn't work from end user perspective for speed and efficiency, especially when 1,000 different vendors come along and put everything everywhere and you have to scroll scroll scroll.

Also, please modify market replay so that it skips the days that fall in the weekend when there is no market data. This will speed things up another 2/7*100 % = 28% on multi week replays.

I like that idea, kind of like now with the replay date slider.

As long as it takes only 1 click to hit fast speed, and not a slide and drag.

over here they open on Monday morning 00:00 CET , but I get your point sledge.

Alternatively, -during replay -marketreplay could look forward in the background say 1 hour and if in the coming hour there is no marketdata it should skip that hour and advance to the next hour. This way you are not tied to timezones or session templates.

Well, session templates are self-adjusting right now, so that should not really be a problem.

But the replay goes through all night or weekends at 500x...regardless of what stock templates are.

But, If there was a special "market replay session template", Could be set at 9:00am to 4:30pm EST, and it would skip over the after hours/weekends in an instant... and your chart templates would only replay within market replay session template.

Someone might need some premarket daily ema calculations for say ES to get ema's sma's at 9:30 open... hence 9:00 am market replay session start.....(rather than have the ema/sma rolloff from yesterdays close at 4:00...

Are you suggesting if I didn't have some instruments set to 24/7 NT wouldn't market replay weekends?

I'll try and clean those up and see what happens.

Wish list

To quickly view a chart upside-down. Sometimes it is helpful to briefly see the inverse of a chart. The method of doing should be very quick and intended just for a momentary view ( so don't force me to have to turn it off). Some keyboard short-cut that when released returns the chart to normal view.

My main wish would be Options. If Options could be enabled just for charting, it would be a huge feature for many, adding it for trading would be phenomenal.

Any info, on when first beat would be out and its new features?
