Kinetick and IB Data

The kinetick and IB data for ES are always off by 1.5 points. This has been the case on both Monday and today. Any idea?

Please tell me which interval of chart you're using as well.

To be precise, they are off each other. No always exactly 1.5 points. It seems kinetick is lagging behind. This is worse during RTH. After 6pm, they are much closer. Right now IB is 1454.75 but kinetick is 1455. I use 60min or 3200 ticks charts.

Thanks for clarifying.

I see similar behavior here indicating that these are the values provided by the two providers. NinjaTrader, in this respect, acts much like a television in that it takes signals from a provider and displays those signals graphically. If the signal differs, so to would the display of that signal.

If you feel that either value is incorrect, I'd encourage you to broach the subject with your data provider as they would ultimately be supplying the data provided by NinjaTrader.

I also have the Sierra chart with barchart feed, it matches perfectly with IB. I think this might be kinetick's issue. Any idea?

Different data providers often provide different data, however NinjaTrader will display whatever data it is provided.
