    Database initilization

    I've installed NT6 without any difficulties, but when I run the program, during the start-up splash-screen it says "initializing custom assemblies", then it changes to "initializing database" - it is during this part that the program shuts down and all I get is a windows XP error saying the program has been terminated and do you want to send an e-mail, etc.

    Hi Mrshultzy,

    Can you please verify you have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your PC.

    In addition, please go to Windows Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs, highlight NinjaTrader and click Repair.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

      Yes, I have .NET 2.0 installed. It is actually a fresh installation that I did before I installed NT6, just to make sure.

      I just tried repairing and rebooted my computer and I'm still getting the same error at the same place.

              Ahhhhhhh!

              This problem just started occurring this morning on trying to get my charts up!

                Hello,

                This could be happenning for different reasons, all of which I would need to see you log and trace files.

                Please verify that you have .NET 2.0 installed (and you do not have .NET 3.5 installed) and send us your log and trace files from Help>Mail to support for further assistance. Please reference the issue you having in your email.

                  Thanks Ben.

                  I would like to send log and trace files but I cannot get Ninja open at all!

                  How else would I do so.

                  I am attempting a re-install.

                      Hello,

                      Then please send an email to support at NinjaTrader dot com and attach your log and trace folders (if you have any) from Documents>NinjaTrader 6.5> log, then trace. Please reference the issue you have having.

                          Fixed!



                          Deleted all files in MyDocuments\db

                          and Ninja booted like normal, templates still there!
