I have contracts set to MergeBackAdjusted, and also tried it with MergeNonBackAdjusted. I tried loading the continuous contracts as well (##-##) and nothing is working. Did you guys make any changes recently in how historical data is loaded and/or displayed?

Only able to load monthly bars back to March 2009
I have multiple installations of NinjaTrader. On one of them, I loaded historical data some time ago using monthly bars and was able to load data back to 2005. I am now trying to load the same monthly data on another installation using the NinjaTrader historical servers, and I am only able to see back to 2009. The status bar on the Control Center seems to indicate that it is loading back to 2005, but it is not showing up.

OK... it used to be available for download, however. If you check your db directory, under the "Day" subfolder, you will see that the folders for years back to 2005 are still created, although there is nothing in there. In addition, can you confirm that you see status messages showing the downloading of data prior to 2009 showing up in the Control Center status bar (the lower part of the window)? I am trying to figure out if this is a bug in the latest version of your software, or a deliberate decision on the part of NT for some reason.

Hello Trader_55,
Yes I see this on my end.
If the data is requested you will see the downloading of the data listed in the Control Center and the folder will be created for the data. However, the folder will be empty since there is no data available.
I will forward this to our development team to look into not creating the folders when data is requested and there is no data available for download.Christopher S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

OK, so just to confirm... this is an intentional change on the part of NT to only have data back to 2009 from now on - it's not a bug, correct?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_ChristopherS View PostHello Trader_55,

It looks like you already have the data on the other system. Just export it, and then import it to the new system.Originally posted by Trader_55 View PostOK, so just to confirm... this is an intentional change on the part of NT to only have data back to 2009 from now on - it's not a bug, correct?
