    how to remove an instrument

I created a new instrument tracking folder and want to delete just one of the instruments in there without deleting the entire folder.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

To remove an instrument from a list please use the following steps:
    • Tools
    • Instrument Manager
    • Select your list on the left
    • Select the instrument you would like to remove from this list
    • Left click on the > arrow to remove
    • Click Ok

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Adding/Removing Instruments.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      sooo easy...
      thanks

in an instrument, I updated the 'session template' of the stock I just deleted and brought it back into my template folder. when I open that stock under 'session template' it says '<use instrument settings>'
does this mean it is now using what I set as the default?

This will use the Session Template that was setup within the Editor. To see what Session Template is used by default please go to Tools-->Instrument Manager-->Select the instrument-->Edit-->Definitions tab.
