commission calculations

Hi,

I'm seeking clarification on if and/or how the commission amounts are contained in the gross or net profit shown on the strategy performance reports.

As near I can tell, the commission is not subtracted from either the gross profit or the net profit shown in the performance reports.

I couldn't find any detail on this in the help guide, hope I didn't miss anything there.

Commissions should be detecuted from both the Gross and Net.

How did you setup your commissions? Is this real-time or historical performance?

Does the commissions row return a value or is it $0?

Hello Matthew,

I set up a flat rate commission in the Commission tab of the Option window. I'm viewing historical performance reports generated from strategies enabled in a chart. The commissions row does show a value.

So, just so I'm clear on this, let's say the gross profit shows $5,000 and the net profit shows $3,000 and the commission line shows $1,000; this would imply a gross profit before commissions of $6,000 and net profit before commissions of $4,000.

Do I have that right?
