Auto Start/Run strategy

I am going to be away and I would like to continue running my strategy while I am gone in demo. Since in Tools/Options/Misc there is a "Time to flatten" time, is there a way to Auto Start/Run a strategy each morning before trade time?

Hello kenb2004,

There is no supported method to Auto Start (enable) a strategy programmatically.

You could either set/create a Session Template to your strategy for the hours you would like to trade and have your strategy running at time, or use a Time Filter inside your strategy to limit the trading hours of your strategy.

If you uncheck the "Time to flatten" option, will the strategy continue running? And then using a time filter you could auto trade daily without stopping or starting the strategy? Is this correct?

That is correct. Note that we do recommend that you monitor your strategy/machine while running an Automated Strategy to avoid any unforeseen errors.
