NT crashed after entering BUY in IB

NT 1000.11 just crashed on me after a strategy placed a buy order to IB, but before execution and placement of Stops and Targets. It is the first time it has happened in many trade entries.

1) Do you want the trace or log file?
2) After restarting NT, what is the procedure, if any, to synch the strategy and the IB position so the ATM strategy can manage the trade?

If this is a live trade you may want to contact your broker to manage the position.

1) Can you send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

2) If the profit target(s) and stop loss order(s) were not submitted with the order you would have to manually place them. You will not be able to apply the strategy to an open order.
