Daily Bars

I am unable to display Daily bars with Zen-Fire feed. I'm getting intraday
fine, but when I click on Daily I get a blank screen. Is there something else I need to do?

Daily Bars

Yes there is.. you need to get a separate datafeed that provides daily, weekly and monthly historical data. Zenfire is an intraday datafeed. If you want a daily, you can substitute a 1440 minute chart but that is about as close as you can get with just using Zenfire.

You can try using the free Yahoo daily datafeed as a 2nd connection.

1440 minute bars plot fine but the time axis becomes nearly useless (something I hope is fixed for NT7 but should've been fixed ages ago in my opinion), I don't know if this is the case with 'real' daily bars as well.

If zoomed out enough that individual days cannot be labeled, at least demark weeks or months for goodness sake. Even when putting the cursor on the time axis is of no help as it displays nothing but 00:00. How useful.

Thank you for your feedback.

The 1440 minute chart is a work around to those who do not receive daily data, and not designed to work as a daily chart would. Improvements will be made to NinjaTrader 7 in many of these charting aspects.
