NYSE ^TICK Data - Kinetick - Limited Range

Since moving from TradeStation recently I find the NYSE ^TICK market internals data to have a limited range.

As for TS and others advice, I have set +/-600, +/-800, and +/-1000 alert levels but the Kinetick TICK rarely gets above/below 600, less so 800/1000. Much more subdued.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

    Hello RichardHK,

    Thank you for your note.

It's possible another scale is used. What last price are you seeing on ^TICK currently?

      Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your reply. Attached is image showing ^TICK on 5 minute chart for last 2 days. Closed at +192 yesterday.

Alert scale of 0 to +/-1,000 is standard as far as I am aware. A function of NYSE data?

        Hi Richard,

        Thanks for posting this image.

Your data does match what I see loaded here. The data you are loading from the data Kinetick server is coming in correctly. More information about the scalining difference of the TICK data provied can be found by contacting Kinetick support via email (Support [AT] Kinetick [DOT] com) - please include a link to this forum thread with your message.

Are you sure it isn't a "difference"?

Kinetick explains a lot on their website. Which are you mapped too? there are over 50+ different TICK mappings.

My TDA TICK is even more subdued that you subdue'ing .. lol
