    Measured Move Drawing Tool

I was watching a webinar today and the moderator was using trade station. His software had a tool that he used to measure a move that would extend the move in the opposite direction equally. I know that Ninja's fib tool does this with all the fibs levels but is there a tool available that will place a simple measured move? If Ninja has it, I can't find it.

    Thanks for looking.

    Hello Frank,

    Thank you for your post.

Are you looking for a tool that will measure between points? If so this can be done using the Ruler Tool.

Please go to your Drawing Tool drop down menu and select Ruler which will change your cursor to a pen.

Place the pen on your chart where you would like the measurement to begin and left mouse click once, move the pen to where you would like the measurement to end and left mouse click again.

Next move the pen to where you would like the information box placed and left mouse click again.

I have also provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the Ruler Tool.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

use the Fib Extension tool. once applied, double click on it to open properties and deselect all the levels you don't want. probably all you want is 0 and 100 to use it as a measured move tool.

there should be a way to save this setting as a default.

maybe Christopher can further explain how to set as default.

        Hello,

Please right click in the Fib Properties menu and select Manage Templates. Save using the named 'Default' to use these settings by default with new Fibs in the future.
