Clearing Market Analyzer Data

I have a list of securities and for some reason not all of them show "Description"s....i know its not a datafeed issue (IQ feed) since i tested the feed on Multicharts and the description came through fine.

I thought maybe my data was corrupted so i deleted the historical data for the securities and restarted but that did not fix it.

Any ideas?

Hello duncanhoo,

The Description column will load the text that is entered in the Description field of the Definition-tab in the Instrument Editor window.

Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight an instrument that does not show text in the Description column and click Edit. Enter the text to your liking in the Description field.

Remove and re-add the instrument to your instrument list now that it has different settings. Instructions can be found at the link below.
