IB account balances

Hi,

I have got a short question referring to the account balances calculated by IB: does they refer to the global portfolio or to a particular position opened by a strategy?
I am not really sure, what information I will be provided with, if I refer to the account balance in my ninja script.

Welcome to the forum and I am happy to assist you.

IB has no idea if the trade is opened by a strategy or placed manually. Thus it will return the global balances only.

NinjaTrader will pull the account balances as provided by your connectivity provider/broker.
