Stop strategy doesnt always engage

I have a Stop Strategy that doesnt always engage. It will work for one trade, then NOT the next. WHY?

Does the ATM Strategy not execute as well, or is it just the stop strategy.

Do you have the stop strategy saved in a template name, or are you using "Custom"? Is this template saved in an ATM Strategy as well?

Can you give me the settings of your ATM Strategy and Stop Strategy?

The ATM strat works, stop at 10, target at 20. It's the Stop strat that isnt working consistently. 3 step Auto trail. step one,( 6, 1, 4), Stop, Freq, Profit trigger, respectively. Step two (4,1,6), step three (2,1,8).
Again, It has Worked. Just not every time??

As I test on my end, it seems as though the Stop Strategy is working as expected with these parameters.

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) your most current log and trace files.You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named "log.YYYYMMDD.txt"

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named "trace.YYYYMMDD.txt"
