Replay on New Demo Account

I am in a free demo account and want to download some tick data on CL to replay to try out NT. I seem to be able to download the data OK for a date, but am trying to set up a 5 minute chart to trade from. My chart will not display any data and after many many attempts , do not know where to turn.

Does the data fill in when you hit play in market replay?

Hello Wolf,

So I may assist you further please answer the following.


What expiry is selected for the CL?
What date was downloaded?
What time is selected in the Market Replay Controller?
When you right click on the Market Replay Controller and select Available data what does it show?

L1 and L2

I think I have it now.. but what is L1 and L2 difference?

Hi Wolfpacker,

These are different parts of the full data stream. At a basic level, you can think of Level 1 data as being price data and Level 2 data as being made up of things like volume and market depth.
