Alarm for NBars

I would like to know if there is away to have an alarm setup
when the nbars down indicator is plotted to be alerted and
when the nbars up indicator is plotted to be alerted.

Or if there is someone that has already created a file for this.

I'm not sure what the NBars Down/Up indicators are, but generally speaking you should be able to setup alarms.

NBarsDown and NBarsUp are 2 of the indicators that come with NinjaTrader Charting software. It is just I am not great at creating a new program for setting up an alert alarm. That is why I am asking if someone has already done the programing and I could download the file. Or if someone could show me how to do this step by step.

Oh. Indeed they are provided. Never used them before so didn't recognize the names.

You can setup an alert for this without needing to code. Do it in the Market Analyzer.

Right click on the Market Analyzer and choose "Columns". Add the "Indicator" column. Choose the NBarUp indicator. Then under the "Special" category you can add the Alert conditions. The trigger is for if value equals 1 then alert you.

Thank you for the info, I just set up the alerts.
Now I just have to wait and see if I did it correctly.

When I go into columns to make the alarm. I dont see any indicators I can choose. How do I get the indicators into columns`?

Thank you for your post.

In the Market Analyzer, right click and select Columns.
In the columns menu, select the Indicator column from the list on the left and click New.
Click on the indicator column you just added. On the right side of the columns menu, select the indicator you wish to use from the Indicator property.

You can then configure your alert condition from the same menu.

Alert setup Market Anlyzer help

Somebody please tell me how can I setup an alert from market analyzer for an indicator crossing another indicator?
One of the 2 indicators is new made indicator
Or can someone help me: I want to scan S&P 500 components on a daily basis for 2 indicators value crossing . And I want one of the follows:
1. Return those symbols with matching criteria
or/and 2. Get an alert when this happens

Thank you for your post.

What you describe here is possible, but custom programming would be required.

For this you will need an indicator which returns a value depending on whether or not this condition is present. This would allow you to configure an alert for these conditions within the market analyzer.
