Not getting any data

Just selected FXCM as my dataProvider, showing Connected on the Control Center statusBar, but no data is be shown in the bid ask last panel of the Control Center window.

I selected Tools > InstrumentMgr then added a few pairs. created new "Type" from the comboBox and an currency pair from the "Name" comboBox; result is still no data.

Thanks for writing in to report this issue.

Which pair have you selected in the Orders tab of the Control Center? If you create a chart using the same symbol, does an error appear? If so what does the error report?

$USDJPY is the pair i'm following and the errMsg is: Error on loading chart data for "$USDJPY Default": Unable to get historic rates. Unknown issue for instrument $USDJPY Default

Which version of NinjaTrader are you using currently? Please check the Help > About menu. Version will be listed in a 7.0.1000.X format.

Can you please disconnect FXCM and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments.

Restart NinjaTrader and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager. Add the forex instruments you intend to use to your default instrument list. Instructions can be found at the link below.

Select the USDJPY from your default instrument list and check if you receive data.
