Thank you for your post.

The EMA indicator you reference can likely be downloaded from the NinjaTrader support forum and then imported. If you refer to the following search you can find an EMA of the sort you describe:

Then to import into NinjaTrader you will take the following steps:
1. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript to open the Import NinjaScript dialog window
2. Select the file you want to import
3. Press the "Open" button


However, if you wish to create your own indicator you can do so using NinjaScript which is based on the modern C# programming language.
