Refreshing Chart and Candles for the day do not form right...

Hey Guys...please see the attached.

This happens to be a 1 min chart (but it does it on all time frames it seems...5, 10, 15 min etc.

Notice the date at the bottom. When I refresh it will start the candles immediately after the vertical line dividing the actual day and does not show candles during this day.

How can I fix?

Hello birdog,
Please rollover to the CL 01-13 contract instead of trading the CL 12-12 which has expired.

Also please change the rollover date for CL 01-13 to November 15.

• In Control Center menu bar goto Tools>Instrument Manager
• In the Instrument Manager dialog type in CL in the Name text box and click on the Search button
• Select CL from the data grid below and click on Edit button
• In the Instrument Editor dialog click on Misc Tab
• Scroll Down and click on the [...] button in the Contract Rollover field
• In the new dialog set the Rollover month for 01-13 Contract to November 15.

Please restart NinjaTrader after you have made the changes.

Please reload your historical data after you have restarted NinjaTrader.
To reload your historical data please right click in the background of your chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'.

Ok...I did it but have not restarted yet...isn't all that suppose to be done automatically? How can I prevent doing that in the future on all other contracts and running into this same problem?

By the way...I already had it set to CL 1-13 ... so, the only thing I did was change the date you mentioned...restarting now...just FYI
