chart to keep drawings?

Hello NT friends,

Not sure how chart saves drawings.

My past experience: drawings is saved with each instrument. When a new instrument is loaded, all drawings from previous chart are cleared.

Now the drawing objects from previous chart remains. It does not happen every time but quite often. Also when it occurs, not all drawing objects remain, only one or two.

Any idea?

What do you mean by previous chart? Are these global drawing objects?

Sorry for the confusion. Previous instruement. The chart is not closed. Simply type in a new isntrument name.

Thank you for your response.

Please right click in your chart > select Data Series > set 'Show global chart objects' to false > OK.
Do you still see the drawing objects on your new chart?
