data load speed

Hi NT friends,






When loading chart data from different brokers/data connections, i noticed that IB is slowest, MB trading, kinetics, yahoo are fast, and zen-fire is very fast.






One question is on NT featured broker TDAmeritrade. On NT side, what is the speed range to load TDAmeritrade data into a chart? Is it in the IB category?

Thank you for your post.

The "speed" of a data feed technology or broker technology is reliant on several factors including standard latency.
The distance between you and your data feed/broker's server and the distance between their server and the exchange server all have a factor in the "speed" of a data feed.
This of course will vary for each user.
