Kinetick problem

Hi, I'm having trouble with Kinetick. I am only wanting end of day data, but when I load a daily chart, on some charts, I only get 20 or so days of data. Is there any setting in NT that I need to apply to get EOD data on all instruments?

Thank you for your post.

Please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Days to load-->Input a new value and click Ok.

Keep in mind when connecting to Kinetick Free EOD within NinjaTrader this will give you access to End of Day Daily data which may be used to create Day, Week, Month and Year charts.


If the issue persists can you tell me what instrument you have selected within your chart window.

Thank you for your reply. When I set the interval to daily, the data series "days to load" defaults to 365. With my ES chart, I have full EOD data, with NQ only 30 days and 6E only 30 days. my S&P index chart loads several years of data.

Please reset your instruments with the steps I have provided below:

• Disconnect
• Tools
• Options
• Data tab
• Reset Instruments
• Close NinjaTrader

Next with NinjaTrader closed please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 7
• Open the db folder
• Open the Cache folder and delete all files within this folder
• Go back to the db folder
• Open the Tick folder and delete all files within this folder
• Repeat this procedure for the Day as well as Minute folders
• Restart NinjaTrader
• Open a new chart

Thank you for these instructions. I have completed the steps you describe, however, on re starting NT7 and opening a new chart for 6E, with Kinetick and esignal connections active, I can only get a daily chert of 31 days.

Can you please test while only connected to Kinetick as opposed both Kinetick and eSignal.

perfect. When only connected to Kinetick I get full EOD data. Is it possible to set NT to collect EOD data from Kinetic, but only tick data from esignal?

To achieve this please connect to the Kinetick End of Day (Free) connection first for Daily data and eSignal second for Tick and Minute data.
