Configuring the Chart for the Trades in the Account Performance Tab

Hello,

I've seen we can create post-session charts from our trades in the Account Performance tab, however they currently look like the image attached (where all the text makes the image quite un-useful).

Is it currently possible to:
1- Select the period type rather than the default 1-min setting?
2- Can we configure the Trades so we amend the format/color of the lines connecting entry-sell positions and choose the desired Plot (for example, removing the text)?

The idea is pretty good but not quite sure if I'm not doing something correctly as all settings to configure these chart are disabled whereas all of them work in normal charts? :S

Hello Tronader,

Unfortunately this is as expected when you create a chart from the Account Performance-tab. If you like to access these settings, please create a chart at Control Center-->File-->New-->Chart.

You can remove the text by setting 'Plot executions' to MarkersOnly in the Data Series menu (bottom setting).

I was working from the normal charts but I had the problem that the lines connecting entries and exits were not drawn in there, so I had to keep doing that manually after every trade which was taking my focus from the market quite often.

Can these lines be drawn automatically in the normal chart somehow? ie, by selecting some setting?

These lines will not be drawn on manual placed trades from the regular chart.

so you only have a 1 min chart in account performance tab ?
my strategy runs on a 13 renko bar, but when i open the charts tab, it comes up as 1 min chart.

How does this help me?
cant I change the chart to match the strategy on that account I am viewing ?

Hello Shane,

You can view the strategy results in a chart as follows. Right click the strategy in the Control Center-->Strategies-tab, select 'Strategy Performance' and select one of the three options. It will open a new wndow with the results. You can select the Chart-tab to view a chart as per the interval you use.

i am aware of that option, but I have discovered that the technique you mentioned has a verified bug and does not reflect the true performance results.

Only under the account performance / advanced/ section , can you find accurate results.
I would have thought Ninja Trader would have notified users by now.

Last I heard, they were working on a fix for next release.

As of now, right clicking for performance results is not accurate.
Thats why I want to change the chart settings under account performance.

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to have a different interval when creating a chart via the Control Center-->Account Performance-tab. I will forward the suggestion to support this in the future.
