Price scale on $EURUSD in IB

Hi,

When I set up EURUSD in instrument manager, I selected tick size to 0.00005, which is correct, but when I load $EURUSD in the chart it is only showing 0.0001 scaling....where can I fix this? Using IB data FWIW.

And thanks for all the help today, been asking quite a few questions today :-)

Thank you for your note.


To view Half Pip please set the Tick Size back to 0.0001 within the instrument editor.


Next to enable NinjaTrader to quote currencies in tenth pip please use the steps I have provided below:

• Control Center
• Tools
• Options
• Data tab
• Quote currencies (FX) in: HalfPip
• Click Ok

Ok, I set EURUSD back to .0001 (took out old EURUSD and added new EURUSD) and went into the options box and set Quote currencies (FX) to half pip and charts still quoting/scaling at 0.0001. I restarted NT, reloaded work-space, reloaded historical data and same thing. Also loaded a whole new EURUSD chart and same scaling. Even some of the data in data box is zeroed out....charts look the same thou.

Are you adding a new EURUSD instrument? The EURUSD should be setup by default to work with IB for the correct Pip size.

If so, can you please delete your new instrument and reset to the default settings.

Please first ensure you have the "Quote currency FX" set to "Half Pips". Once confirmed, please go to Tools--> Options--> Data tab--> select "Reset Instruments".

Then restart NinjaTrader and load the preconfigured EURUSD and let us know if the pips are not being reported correctly
