PL doesn't match under Accounts and Account Performance

    PL doesn't match under Accounts and Account Performance

    I wasn't sure where to post this....sorry if this is the wrong place.

    On my sim account under the Account Performance, summary tab....it shows Total Net Profit of $52,637.

    Under the Accounts tab.....my cash value is $139,979.

    Shouldn't these somehow foot?

    I started with $100,000 sim account.

    Thanks for your note.

    To assist you further can you please post a screenshot of the scenario (both the Accounts tab and the Account Performance tab) you are witnessing. Please do include the filter settings in the Account Performance tab.

    To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

        Hello Erin,
        Please make sure you are generating the account performance statement for Sim101 account only.

        In the account performance tab click on the Advance/Basic button and make sure only Sim101 account is checked in the Accounts list box.


        Please refer to the attached screenshot which further demonstrates it.

          I have already done that, and it didn't make a difference.

          I have the same problem on another computer where I was using Ninja.

          The accounts tab show $101,484 for cash value...and the account performance shows total Net profit of $2,250.

          Any other ideas?

            Hello Erin,
            Unfortunately it seems you are running into a know limitation where the account performance and the Simulator account balance tends not to match.

            We however plan to make improvements in this regard in our next major release.

              Does that mean that when I go live....these numbers will match up?

                Hello Erin,
                In live mode the data is pulled from your brokers account and not calculated locally. Please refer to this post which further discusses this http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...nt+information
