Change from previous days close

Hi,

I saw a neat feature in some charting software where you can choose to display the net change from the previous days close (useful when trading futures to avoid limit moves I think) and I was wondering if anything like this exists for ninja? Or is it even possible to plot the previous days close by default when you open up a chart? Tried to figure but no luck with the online support manual.

This is possible with NinjaTrader. You can have an indicator plot these values on a chart and then save this chart as a template.

NinjaTrader comes installed with an indicator named "PriorDayOHLC"

• Right mouse click on the chart background > Indicators...
• On the left hand side, select "PriorDayOHLC" > Click "New"
• Configure the parameters on the right hand side > Under "Misc" set the values to "false" for "Show high" "Show low" and "Show open"
• Click "OK"

Now save this as your default template:

• Right mouse click on the chart > Templates > "Save as Default" or "Save as..." to define a name.
• If you save as default then anytime you create a new chart, this template will be used.
