    Strategy won't activate in Market Replay

    I have a strategy that I'm working on which acts strangely in Market Replay but seems normal in other connections (simulated, AMP demo with CQG).
    I downloaded some replay data for ES and connected to the replay feed.
    Quotes show up fine (I use Volume, Range, and Renko bars).
    However, when I try to turn on my strategy, it does nothing. It just appears to ignore my request when I hit "Apply" or "Ok".
    There is no feedback in the log window giving error information, etc.
    I tried turning on the MAcross demo strategy and that one works in replay.

    Any thoughts on why it would do what I want in other connections but not in replay?

    Seems to require a "locked" strategy

    ...the MA cross version has a "@" at the start of it's filename in the bin/custom folder.
    Mine didn't have that, so it appears that market reply only lets you run with a "locked" strategy? Not sure why that is when you don't need it to be locked when running with live data.

      Goonior, the @ in front just denotes that the script would be one of the default shipped ones - it would not effect your scenario.

      Are you working with a single or multiseries strategy here in replay? How much historical data is loaded before you apply the script?

        I have downloaded 3 or 4 days of the replay data from NinjaTrader (ES).
        I have a multi-series strategy with Volume, Range, and Renko dataseries.

        I just verified the following:
        1) If I connect to market replay with my strategy, it does not load, but the default ones do.
        2) If I rename my strategy with "@" in front of it, remove it from strategies, and then re-add it and try to enable it in market replay, it will load and appear as normal and seems to work fine.

        I just upgraded to the most recent NT7 (32-bit).
        I am also using the demo version from AMP futures with CQG data.

          Goonior, thanks. I don't think the @ makes the difference here - would you mind emailing me via Help >> Mail to Support and attach the strategy you attempt to run so I could run your scenario on our end here?

            Try changing settings

            In the Strategies options box, under General, try changing the Account to Replay
