Two Auto strategies combined: MA CrossOver w/ Profit Target Strategy

Conceptualizing the combining of two strategies to make Automatic Strategy:

A) Profit Target, Trailing Stop (a.k.a. Trailing Stop, Exit)

and

B) ? (M/A CrossOver as Entry Trigger) ?

Never done it before; just looking to get some feedback on whether this is the most effective way of triggering A) by combining w/ B (or is there a better indicator/strategy to use as a trigger)?
