Complete and utter noob needs a little hand holding,,,

I'm completely new to the ENTIRE concept of using a platform based trading system. I run a ton of ping and traces on a daily basis for people that mention this product. I'm willing to put in the hours to learn how to do this effectively and thus help all of my own clients (and future clients) that are currently using Ninja Trader. All of my contact details are updated and I'm generally available all day every day. Help a Ninja wanna be out.

Hello Ryan,

I read your post above. I am also a new member and just getting started. I intend to vew the webinars on the introduction to ninja trader and also on the backtesting just to start. I am in a position where I probably need to catch up on a whole bunch of stuff rather quickly but I am in a position to put quite a bit of time into it. I also did review your link on the site to various organizations that offer training. However, there were many that looked similar and somewhat like they would just be offering webinars themselves. Do you have any suggestions regarding where I may get the best possible instruction in both using ninja trader and in particular constructing some very specific backtests. Ideally, I would like to go to some type of live event where I can really interact with people. I am located in Boston, but I am in NYC every 2 weeks so this may be of some help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Most of our partners will offer a webinar or interactive presentation. NinjaTrader hosts these partner introduction events every week:

I do not have any recommendations of one educational partner over another. I suggest scouting out the partners who interest you the most initially and plan to join up with one of their events.


You can usually find a lot of value such as free trial periods during these presentations as well.


Some of our partners will have events in a central location for clients. I do not know which partners would be scheduling these types of events, although our Business Development Department team may have more information.
