How do I change the timezone on the charts to New York time, globally for all future charts?

Thank you for your post.

NinjaTrader derives it's chart display time from your local PC's clock. To cause the charts to display using EST/EDT time, you will need to shut down NinjaTrader and switch the PC's timezone to EST/EDT. Once NinjaTrader is restarted, the charts will display using EST/EDT as a reference point.

Your workaround is a bit time consuming, and disruptive, especially if the system you trade on happens to be the same system you work from!!

Why not incorporate that option to change the time zone to the zone the market trades in??!!

Hi,

That is something development is considering for future releases but it's not an option currently. As it stands, the only method to change chart display is the method I've outlined in my previous reply.
