Poblem connecting to IB

Hello,

Today I've established the connection with IB, originated FX trade and suddenly NT7 stopped connecting to IB. Just writes "Connecting to IB" in the status line. When I close NT, a dialog opens that I can't get (it opens and closes quickly with an error sound).
IB's TW works fine. I just have to trade the position at TW without charts.

What to try?

"Login failed:TWS closed socket (No more data to read)"

Can you please check what TWS version you currently have installed. You can check this at Help-->About TradersWorkStation.

We currently support TWS version 927 as per the IB connection guide at the link below. Could it be you have a different version?

Please make sure you have TWS 927 installed. You can download it from the following link.

TWS version 927 includes the Mosaic interface. Could it be the Advanced Order Management window is closed when you cannnot connect? If so, please select New Window-->Advanced Order Management in the Mosaic interface and subsequently re-connect.

Could you confirm that TWs version is 917_7 also for F&F accounts?
Also, which version of ninjatrader should we use? last NT updated was not recommended for IB F&F accounts holders.

Hello Juan,

We do not support TWS 917, only TWS 927. This applies for all accounts.

Please use our latest version - NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.11. It was in beta, but it has been passed.
