cannot connect to Kineticks!!

I can't seem to connect to Kineticks. Ninja trader tells me i'm connected but no data shows up. I've tried resetting but still nothing. Any other ideas to try?

Are you connecting to the Kinetick End of Day (Free) connection?

What chart interval do you have selected ? (Example: 1 minute, 4 range, 1 day etc...)

Please note that the EOD connection provides access to historical daily data only, allowing you to access Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly data for free. For any other historical data or Live data you would need to subscribe to the Basic Kinetick Service and potentially one or more additional packages.

ooohhh, so if we want to see hourly charts, we must subscribed to a data package?

Is there any way we can download historical data for free, especially for futures?

Yes this is correct. You must subscribe to a real time data feed for Tick or Minute based intervals.


Unfortunately you won't be able to find much data for free, although there are some brokerages such as AMP Futures and Mirus Futures who provide free data trials for their data feeds.
