TICK, TRIN data from IB

I have not been able to get TICK and TRIN data from Interactive Brokers. I used to be able to do so last time I used them. Did anything change recently?

ZenMachine, what errors message would you get attempting to request those symbols data? Do you get the date itself normally in TWS directly if you check?

What NT7 version / TWS version do you run in your setup currently?

It seems to be a data permission issue with IB. Error message is
"Error on loading chart data for '^TICK Nyse': Historical Market Data Service error message: No market data permissions for NYSE IND".

I can get it in TWS, but initially it too seems to have an issue with data subscription. I am asking IB what changed and what I need to do.

I am using NT 7.0.1000.9.
I can't tell which version of TWS because the version windows pops up and disappears right away for some reason.

Yes, that looks like a subscription issue.

For the versions, NT7 would current be at R11 > which you can download from here :

If version info is not accessible at the moment for you in TWS, you could uninstall it via the Windows Control Panel and then reinstall the 927.7 from our connection guide, this would be the recommended version to use should you choose to upgrade to our R11 release.
