Running actual strategies on a separate machine then what I create them on

Hey folks:

I am going to back up the NT and restore everything to a new machine. The actual strategies will be run on the 2nd machine (not the machine I created them on). So, I am backing everything up right now and will restore to the 2nd machine.

When I load and connect to the data feeds (in this case CQG and GAIN at the moment) and then run the Strategies on the 2nd machine, I can still open and connect to my data feeds on the 2nd machine too to do manual trading and work on it too right?

Hi Greg, per default this would not be possible - best would be checking with your broker if they could enable / permit a second login to the same account, then NT would be able to support this, too.
