Stop loss order altered automatically

Hello NT staff,
I am using IB. When ATM strategy is submitted, the stop loss order is automatically become a stop limit order. The stop price is what i specified in ATM. The limit price is a random one.
Any idea what is going on?

Thank you for your forum post.


Please check to see if you have "Use stop market for stop loss orders" set to true or false:

• Right mouse click on the Order entry interface of a SuperDOM or Chart Trader window > Properties or Chart Trader Properties.
• Under "General" scroll to the bottom
• "Use stop market for stop loss orders" set to true or false?
• Change to "True' if "false"
• Click "OK" when finished.
• Re-test the situation.

It was set to false. Changed to true and issue resolved. Thanks a lot.
