Chart Lists?

Hello,

I'm asking myself how to manage chart lists within Ninjatrader. E.g. if an open trade is closed it shall be moved from the "Open List" to the "Historic List" with all drawing objects. I tried to use a seperate workspace for each list but found no way how to move one chart from one workspace to an other.

Hello Thomas,

You can disable the display of historic executions in the chart as follows. Please right click in the chart and select 'Data Series'. Set 'Plot executions' to DoNotPlot. The chart will not show historic executions anymore.

Unfortunately there is no option to move charts between workspaces. However you can use chart templates to create the same chart in another workspace. Please right click in the chart and select Templates-->Save As. Go to the other workspace and create a brand new chart. Select the chart template you saved in the Data Series menu upon creating the chart and it will use the same indicators and settings.

thank you for your answer. How can drawing objects like trend lines etc moved from a chart in one workspace to a chart in another?

This will only work for charts with the exact same instrument. Please double click the drawing object to open its Properties menu. Set 'Attach to' to *instrument name* (All charts).

The drawing object will now appear in all other charts that have the same instrument selected across workspaces.
