Proper Symbol for eSignal

Hi, I'm connected to esignal fine with the symbol ES. However, in order to get volume to update in real time esignal requires the % infront of the ES. So I'd usually have %ES H8 on another app but Ninja doesn't seem to allow this.
ANy idea how to get volume to update in real time?

Unfortunately the '%' suffix is not supported.

Hello, does that mean we don't have the volume in real time with Esignal? If so what kind of information do we get for the volume?

I might miss something here, but as the jjthetrader was asking about the %, I'm just wondering if I get real time update of the volume with Esignal?

Not sure I follow. As per eSignal support '%' is NEVER part of ANY of their symbol. So why would you not get volume data on valid eSignal symbols?

I suggest giving it a try for your own experience. NT is free as long as you don't trade live.

The % sign is needed in TradeGuider to update the volume in real time. In Ninja it is not required. That's all.
