Mathematically define what you mean by: "price goes sideways", and the rest is just a translation into code. I will even write the code for you, as long as you can give me a reasonably precise mathematical definition of what you mean.

The problem is i'm not sure what is the mathematical definition of "price goes sideways".
I thought maybe someone already figured it out...
